As part of the Mayor of Chesterfield’s Annual Appeal, the town of Chesterfield held a lively Medieval Market on 28 July.
The centre of Chesterfield was bustling, with lots of shoppers, visitors and medieval stall holders and traders. The last ‘real’ fairy also made an appearance with a one-eyed fox, along with medieval musicians and armour clad soldiers around the busy market square.
This year the Mayor of Chesterfield (Barry Bingham) has chosen 3 charities for his Appeal. Funds raised through his Annual Appeal are to be shared between: Sight Support Derbyshire, Nenna Kind and The Chesterfield Royal Hospital Eye Centre.
Many thanks to the Mayor for his support.
Until next time…..
